Online
Registration vs. Mail-In: Beginning Dec 2007, Eventbrite charges
a convenience fee for online registration. To avoid the fee you can
download the registration form and mail in along with a check to
"Musik with Yvonne"
Mandarin for
Family (9 months
to 6 years)
Babies
(newborn to walking)
Toddlers (confident walkers to young 3s)
Preschoolers* (3s and 4s)
* Child-only class. Parents are welcome to drop off or observe.
Get Ready for Piano**: Music Makers at the Glockenspiel (5s, 6s and
7s, 4s must have taken previous music class)
** Parent attendance recommended.
REFUND POLICY:
Notified BEFORE first class meeting, full refund given.
Notified AFTER first class meeting and before second meeting, full
refund given if materials returned, otherwise material fee is deducted from
full tuition refund. Notified 48 hours within the conclusion of
second class meeting, prorated tuition ($20, $22/class, depending) refund given. No refunds
thereafter.
MAKE-UP
POLICY: Missed classes may be made up by
attending another age-appropriate class anytime during the
current session. Make-ups do not carry over to the next
session, and have no cash value for refund or
credit.
SIBLING POLICY: Siblings
who are enrolled in their own age-appropriate classes may
audit class given space availability. Others please stay in
the waiting area, or in
car-seats/strollers.

Family
(9 months to 6 years)
Mandarin Family Music
Learn basic Mandarin vocabularies in this class featuring
Chinese folk songs and traditional Western melodies sung in
Chinese. Instrument exploration, object manipulation, active
listening keep children and grownups engaged while learning a
second language.

Babies
(newborn to walking)
Unique multi-sensory learning environment is a
gymnasium for your baby's brain! A wide array of sounds,
colors, shapes and textures are presented through songs,
rhymes, dances and instrument plays. Learn how intentional
musical activities stimulate brain development and builds a
solid foundation for future learning. ASL signs and musical
concepts are also introduced.

Toddlers
(1s and 2s)
This class offers much more than music. Anchored around Howard
Gardner's Multiple Intelligence Theory, activities encourage
children to develop verbal & cognitive skills, body
awareness, spatial intelligence, emotional &
communications skills, and musical competency. Songs and
dances are always presented with a variety of instruments and
manipulative to keep the children engaged.

Preschoolers
(3s and 4s)
Other than the emerging singing voice, this class also
nurtures a preschooler's imagination and creativity. More
focus will be given on pitch matching and solo singing.
Children will be given opportunity to play pitched instrument
as well as participate in rhythm instrumental ensembles. We
also explore musical concepts such as beat, rhythm, pitch,
dynamics, tempo in songs and dances.

Kindergarteners
& 1st Graders (4s to 6s)
Get Ready for Piano!
Receive and learn to play your very own glockenspiels in this
keyboard preparation class! Movement and drumming activities
serve to strengthen children's interest and skills in reading,
writing and performing music.
